Gikii Goes North of the Wall

After two years of online-only conferences, fellow geeks will be packing their snow-shoes and making it all the way to the land of Ice and Fire, Gikii is going to Reykjavik, Iceland!
Gikii has been going strong since 2006, we are the original geek law conference. We are looking for papers that explore the interface between law and popular culture. Anything to do with sci-fi, fantasy, robots, AI, comic books, ghosts, VR, AR, Metaverse, Gikii is the place for you. You can see last year’s lineup for some ideas.
This will be a hybrid conference so do not worry if you cannot make it all the way to the North. There is a very short turn-around this time. Submission is by abstract (max 300 words). Your submission should take into account that Gikii favours short presentations (12 minutes max), so try to make your subject as concise as possible. Send your abstracts to “miranda_br8 at hotmail dot com” or “a dot guadamuz at sussex dot ac dot uk”, deadline May 29. We’ll accept or reject papers within days so that you can plan your trip.
